Kalman Stein has a lifetime love of music as a musician, fan, reviewer, and songwriter. He is the author of two works of fiction: Music God, a rock and roll mystery, and A Fly On The Wall, a crime thriller novella. Other books include Fun With Words, a poetry chapbook; and Happy Hippie Hippo, an illustrated children’s book. His poetry has been published in numerous journals and publications.

Kal has a BA in English and Comparative Literature and an MBA, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Kal also managed national charities for 40 years, raised $200 million for the environment, and managed the Combined Federal Campaign for the US Government.
