Music God
A Rock and Roll Mystery
Maxie Gold was the biggest music star in the world. Then a teenage girl was found dead in his dressing room — and nothing was ever the same.
Music God is a crime novel told from the inside — a road manager’s account of a thirty-year friendship, a meteoric rise from South Philly cover bands to global superstardom, and a cult-like following built on the intersection of music and faith.
At its heart, Music God is a love letter to music, and a story about the moment when protecting someone becomes something else entirely.
